I really wanted to put the lamp from Kit’s collection in her room, but it is retired and hard to find. It’s a hot item on eBay and sells for much more than I’m willing to pay for it.
Those obstacles had me contriving how to make a working doll lamp out of basic materials. I ordered the mini LED lights, fiddled with some of my craft supplies and came up with a pretty good alternative to Kit’s real lamp. Of course, the lamp could be used for any doll’s room as is, or change the color as you wish.
I initially posted the tutorial on Instagram, hence the directions that are incorporated in the pictures below. I think it’s a fairly simple project. Please let me know if you have questions or suggestions. If you make a lamp, I’d love to see it! Tag me on Instagram or send me an email.
