Last week, we attended the birthday party for a newly-two year old little boy. When the girls get invited to birthday parties, I am trying to put together something handmade, if there’s time. We had an inclement weather day last week (our 5th in about a week’s time, I think?), so I spent our time at home making this cute little crayon roll. I am really pleased with how it turned out.
I referenced the crayon roll tutorial on Skip to my Lou to make this, but tweaked it to get the rainbow look on the inside of the roll. I used a Michael Miller Dick and Jane print for the outside plus some rainbow ribbon leftover from Mallory’s 4th birthday party. The inside was put together with scraps. I had fun figuring out the best prints from my scrap bins that would match the crayons.
I see more of these in my future for a simple birthday gift.
I definitly inviting you to my next party. This is great!
So so darling! I love the parade of rainbow 🙂
Fantasic Idea!
This is adorable!!!
